Thanks for dropping by my personal site. I'm trying to use this in lieu of social media as a way to share my thoughts, writing, and photos / life updates. 

Writing novels is my primary artistic passion, and I am in the middle of the agonizing decision of whether or not to self-publish, seek out a traditional publisher, or just keep writing for myself to improve my craft. I have settled upon the final of the three for now, but I am excited to see what the future holds.

I live in Utah Valley with my wife and two boys. I speak fluent Japanese, am an award-winning multi-instrumentalist, and have a passion for geology and paleontology. I spend my free time exploring Utah's ancient landscapes, devouring books, and spending time with my family.
